Hi! My name is Adrianne. I am the president of the Erasmus Soc for this year, which basically mean that you can contact me any time (abcm500@york.ac.uk) if you need advice about how to settle in York as a new Erasmus Student, if you want to get more information about the Erasmus Exchange Programme, or simply if you want to know what Erasmus Soc is all about! I am a French third year history student, and I went to Aachen (Germany) in my second year. This was an awesome experience and I was amazed by the warm welcome I received there. I felt I needed to spread the word and get more people to seize the opportunity to go abroad and to welcome the new Erasmus Students in such a way that they would never forget York!

Hello everyone. My name is Michael Houlgate and I am a third year history student. Last year I did an Erasmus in Parma in Italy and really enjoyed it, and so wanted to recreate the feeling of being abroad by joing Erasmus Society!

Hi I'm Esther, I'm English and the Secretary for the York Erasmus society. I'm currently a 4th year French and Linguistics student here at York. I spent last year in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France for my Erasmus exchange and I loved every minute of it. The best thing about Erasmus for me is meeting people from all different countries and cultures and having a laugh with them!

I'm Natalie, and I'm a fourth year French, German and Linguistics student. I spent 3 months in Paris and 4 in Braunschweig during my year abroad. I had an awesome time, and came back wanting to make sure that all the people who come to York on an Erasmus exchange have an equally good time.

I'm a social rep for the Erasmus Society, so that means I help organise lots of fun York related activities for the society. I also love doing Capoeira, going for coffee, driving my car and dancing!

Hello! I'm a final year French, German and Linguistics student at York. Last year I spent a semester studying in Nantes, France, and a semester studying in Erfurt, Germany. I joined the Erasmus Society Committee this year as I wanted to be part of the Erasmus experience again and I like meeting new and interesting people. As a Socials Rep, I help organise the society's socials, which happen each week. I try and come along to them as well, so look out for the girl with short dark hair and say hello!

I'm Tim, one of the social reps, making me partly responsible for the organisation and smooth running (always!) of the socials :). I'm originally from Scotland (no connection to the Edinburgh trip - I know what you're thinking!) and have just returned from a great Erasmus year in Regensburg. It is because of how good my year abroad was that I decided to join Erasmus Society: to see if I could help each of our lovely members enjoy their time here as much as they possibly can!

Hi, I'm Pedro. I'm a Portuguese first year Computer Systems and Software Engineering student. Before coming to York I completed the European Baccalaureate in Belgium. As an overseas student, I felt the need to be involved with other students who have had similar experiences, so I joined the Erasmus Society. In addition, I decided to apply my knowledge to produce this wonderful, strict XHTML 1.0 website for the Erasmus Society. Feel free to validate it. Apart from that I use my persuasion skills to convince undecided people to adhere to the ErasmusSoc events. All in all, a great time.
