FAQ: Outgoing Students
Q. I am considering to study abroad for a while. How do I find
out about my possibilities?
A. The Erasmus Society does not organise the exchange itself.
Your departemental officer can tell you more about your options,
and the International Office published an overview of universities
on their website as well. A link to the IO can be found in our
links section.
Q. I am not certain about my language skills. How can I impove
on them?
A. There are several ways to solve this linguistic problem. You
might want to do a bit of research yourself and see if it is
possible to follow modules in English, or if it is possible to hand
essays in English. Next to this, the Languages for All program run
by the university can be a real life saviour. Participating in a
LFA course gives you a proper foundation for your exchange. Next to
this the Erasmus Society runs a tandem program which can be used to
brush up and improve on your rusty language skills. Finally, the EU
organises Erasmus Intensive Languages Courses (EILC) in all
languages apart form German, French and Spanish. In short, there
are plenty of options!
