New website launched

We have finally launched our updated website for the next academic year at York. A few significant improvements have been made that will allow for better communication with our members, namely:

1) Homepage

The main point of entry to the website now contains three blocks of information on the right including current Events, News and the possibility to join our mailing list straight from our website.

2) Events

In the past we have used a mix of Facebook events and e-mail communications to let you know about our events. This year we will continue to do so, however our website now shows all the events published on our Facebook group so that even if you do not use Facebook you can still see all the details, helping you not to miss any event.

3) Mailing list

Although we enjoy receiving an e-mail from you about joining our mailing list, having an automated process makes it even easier for you to be kept updated on events, news and other goodies. A Google group has been set-up where you can see all e-mails that have been distributed to all members. You can also, should you wish, easily unsubscribe by following the instructions at the bottom of our e-mails.

We hope this update will contribute positively to your experience while in York!
