Outgoing students
The Erasmus Society does not only help incoming students.
If you are studying at the University of York and
considering to go on an Erasmus Exchange, we can help you
with that as well!

The Erasmus Society wants to help you if you want to go on an
exchange, but if you are not entirely certain yet about the
university you want to go to. In some cases, the choices are pretty
easy. If you study French it makes sense to go to a French
university for your exchange. But have you ever considered
the Netherlands as a History student? Or Sweden as a
biologist?

Our aim is to provide you with the kind of information you would
usually have difficulties finding. We try to answer questions like:
'How are the seminars structured in Sevilla?', 'How much will a
loaf of bread cost me in Greece?' and 'What is Eindhoven's
equivalent to Ziggy's?'
At the moment, we have
got reports about the following universities:
- The Universiteit van Utrecht, Utrecht, the Netherlands
(History, Medieval Studies, Women's Studies)
- The Universität Konstanz, Konstanz, Germany (History)
- The Université François Rabelais, Tours, France (History,
Music)
- The Université Charles De Gaulle (Lille 3), Villeneuve d'Ascq,
France (Languages & Linguistics, Physics)
- The Université de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland (English,
NOT ERASMUS)
- The Universitetet i Bergen, Bergen, Norway (Politics,
Sociology)
Check out our database about each country of exchange
with York and what students want to tell you about it!

If you already went in an exchange or if you want to
tell us about your home university, don't hesitate to write
yourself something about it and to forward it to us at
erasmussoc@gmail.com.
We need your contribution to promote Erasmus among
Yorkies!!! Thank you very much for all those who
helped!
